900HP on the stock engine?

This is a question that pops up on almost every internet forum and chat board across the world. In a nutshell I have owned two 1000hp (900rwhp+) Supra's that ran on a 100% factory bottom-end. One ran for 5 years at 700HP+! There are a number of 900hp+ Supra's floating around on the stock bottom end (rods, crank, pistons, head gasket).

While many Supra owners start building the bottom end with rods, pistons and a nice set of bearings, most every 700HP Supra floating around is on the stock bottom end. The factory head gasket is even used on built motors with factory head studs running in excess of 1100hp.

It is my opinion that a well tuned 2JZGTE engine can run at 700HP for a long long time if the person uses some wisdom. This block is the most robust engine that we have ever seen, period.
