HKS Metal Head Gasket - 1.2mm Bead Type 7MGTE Motor
HKS metal headgasket, bead style, 1.2mm thick with the factory 86mm bore. Fits both the 7MGTE and 7MGE engines. The 1.2mm head metal head gasket is perfect for those that are replacing the factory headgasket and do NOT have severe head warpage or have a head that needs lots of material removed during the rework phase. Please work together with your machine shop to best identify whether you need a 1.2mm or 2.0mm head gasket for your particular application.
Once again, generally speaking if your head is in pretty good condition and/or you are just changing from the factory headgasket to a HKS metal headgasket then the 1.2mm should be fine.

Accessories
Anytime you switch to a metal head gasket in order to help solve the head gasket blowing problem, then you need to go with ARP head bolts and studs. Factory studs and bolts cannot handle the additional torque values required when sealing your new metal head gasket to minimize head gasket leakage. A must have, period. $110.00 |  | If you have a blown head gasket and are reworking the head and using a new metal head gasket, then it is critical to use ARP hardware. ARP builds very high tensile strength fittings and hardware used in race and performance cars all over the world. They are important in that they do not stretch like the factory bolts and studs and can be torqued down to 75 ft.lbs which is needed to help secure your head for higher boosted applications. $126.00 |
