Injector Dynamics are considered a top-tier fuel injector and we've been involved with ID for years in the Supra world.

All ID injectors are matched based on 450 data points of dynamic flow data. This takes both injector dead time (known as offset) and flow rate (known as slope) into account. This isn't something we invented, there are SAE papers written many years ago about this stuff, this is just the correct way of doing things.

Injector Dynamics is one of two companies that we know of in the USA that does a pre-qualification run on every set of injectors they sell.

Some would call this a break-in procedure, but we prefer a pre-qualification as true breaks in's will be done in a dynamic condition on the vehicle. Regardless, this qualification process allows for any issues to arise before they go in your 1000 HP 2JZ. Pre-qualification (see the test rig photos), also allows a seating-in if you will of the injector to a rail with the deflection of the o-ring, so when it's mounted in your rail, it will be the closet possible to being absolutely reproducible in it's fitment and performance.

They use only new Bosch EV14 donors (cores), which helps in robustness of the product and allows for a higher quality product to hit the ground. Our friends at Boost Lab, who provide a cleaning and standard test service for many injectors have commented on the excellent spray pattern as compared to many injectors they've serviced over the years (see photo).
