For those that don't need all of the features of the Infinity 8 / 708, or maybe just want the smaller AEM Infinity box, we offer this patch harness. The vast majority of users will not need the full 708 series box, and we have included a graph showing the stats side by side with the different Infinity versions.

Why go with a smaller box with less features? Not everyone needs full capability of the full AEM-supplied plug and play kit--and certainly not the price that comes with it. With our setup, you can get all the features you need for a price slightly higher than the v2 EMS, yet much more advanced!

Don't forget to pick your correct model year as well

Q: If this is a standalone EMS, why does my Lexus still need my stock ECU?
A: The newer VVTi equipped cars use the Multiplex CAN BUS network. 98+ Toyotas/Lexus' use this system to communicate between the different parts of the car. The harness is designed to run the Infinity in parallel with the stock ECU, so that you will still retain use of the factory drive-by-wire throttle, ABS, gauge cluster, transmission, etc. Without the stock ECU, these will not function.

Q: What harness will I get?
A: These harnesses are made in different lengths for different applications. With the IS300 and GS300, the factory ECU is in the engine bay. The harnesses for these applications are 6 feet long.

You will also use the stock Aristo engine harness (and ECU). You'll need to keep them to keep the chassis electronics happy.


Q: Can I still run the factory automatic transmission?
A: Yes! With these harnesses, you can still use the stock auto tranny, however we strongly recommend other options, as these 5 speed autos are not known to handle much abuse. Check out our CD009 conversion kit for instance!

These harnesses are typically built to order and use a separate cam sensor sub-harness to separate the grounds, so that the cam and crank sensors arent using a shared ground.
