 APPLICATION: 1986.5 to 1992 Supra
New product as of Dec. 02'. We are now stocking professionally fabricated "test-pipes" in 3.0" diameter for the MK3 Supra (non-turbo and turbo). The 3.0" diameter test pipes are perfect for modified and/or Supra's running larger diameter exhaust systems with downpipes.
Inset picture shows a complete 3.0" exhaust system. The section on the far left is the downpipe. The center (black to show for photo) is the test pipe and the right is what is commonly referred to as a cat-back exhaust. Thanks Paul S. for the photo! In this picture the downpipe connects to the test pipe, which in turn connects to either the factory exhaust or an aftermarket cat-back exhaust.
What is a test pipe?
Simple. A test-pipe is used to replace the catalytic convertor on cars for added performance. Simple bolt-in performance product with only 4 bolts (can be obtained at any hardware store). Excellent bang for the buck performance. Test pipe can be used with our HKS, DEFCON or Titan Motorsports downpipe for total CAT elimination or it can be used with a factory exhaust or aftermarket exhaust as well.
Test pipes are for off road use only.
