We want to make it clear to any who purchase this, that it is not plug-n-play, you will have to do some light fabrication and possibly enlarge a few holes to get it all to fit perfectly. 8 out of 10 customers in the past have been aware of this, but we have had 6 or 7 out of 100 sold, that were expecting a kit like it came from HKS or Boost Logic for $1500, and it is not that quality.
It works well, you just need to know, you will have to do some mods to make it work perfectly. If you are installing a front mount intecooler, this is a DIY kit, which means, the NA Supra is NOT designed for a front mount. You will have to cut some of the tubing and weld to get the correct alignment. If you are comfortable with this type of work, it is a great bargain, if not, this kit is not for you. There are no returns on this kit because you think it is far too much work to install.

As you are probably aware SupraStore.com was one of the world pioneers in Supra Single Turbo Conversions. Back in 1999 we started the phrase "Go Single", to signify the change from the factory stock twin turbos to a larger and more powerful single turbo conversion.
Now our Naturally Aspirated (non-turbo) MKIV (93-98 Supra) owners want a single turbo conversion kit as well, so here we go again! Go single conversion!!! No worries, we did not leave out our Japan Specification JDM 2JZGE Non-Turbo engine owners, as this kit fits that application as well. Lexus SC or GS300 owners? Yes, it fits as well, with a little tweak here and there! It can even be tweaked to work with the IS300!!
We talked with Mark at XS and let him know our dilemma and desire for a good budget based single turbo kit for both the 2JZGTE and 2JZGE engines and they provided us with both.
So, here we go. US designs, Asian off-shore manufacturing and good old fashioned American pricing and we have a budget based kit that actually performs! These T61 turbo based kit can make up between 300whp and 500whp (500whp requires, headgasket kit and upgraded fuel system) and is about as complete as you can get. So complete it even includes the intercooler, which is a lower cost look of the GReddy 3 row. The kits fit pretty darn good, make good power and even have a basic warranty (not if you are stupid and blow up your motor) but for the product itself. Upgrade to GT35R Water Cooled Turbo for only $450 more! The GT35R is a T3 flanged turbo and the 2JZ turbo manifold is a T4, so you will either need to weld on a T4 flange or use a T3 to T4 adaptor (avail. for $70).
The base NA 2JZGE engine with just the turbo kit will run about 7-9psi of boost on the wastegate spring and make a little over 300whp without any issues on pump gas (premium unleaded)on the factory 330cc injectors you have installed. Add a Walbro fuel pump and you can make 350whp. I must stop everyone here. Good tuning requires a wide band air fuel system (we of course sell those as well), so make sure you have a tuner who is competent. If you want to make more than 350whp, then you will need to go to 440cc injectors and or adjustable fuel pressure regulator kit and of course run the Apexi NEO or GReddy eManage (listed below) to help control everything. Next step up? 550cc or larger injectors (we of course have those for you as well) for a direct drop in. With the proper fuel and tuning device (eManage or similar) and 550cc injectors and our 1.3mm headgasket kit you can make close to 500whp on the T61 turbo set-up running some good boost on nice higher octane performance fuel!
As you can see, this kit can support the higher power levels with options. Most customers opt fo the basic kit first then upgrade as their resources or expertise level allows. Great way to learn your car when installing our kits!
You simply cannot beat this if your budget only allows $2000!!! So, what do you get for your money and are there install instructions? Of course there are instructions and you better have some decent tools or a friend who does. Is it difficult to install? It is a complete bolt-on and can be done in a weekend with you and a friend with some decent tools. If you want to run higher boost, then you will need to do our thicker headgasket kit (complete with everything you need to install) and available as an option below. Is the kit actually decent, I mean come on, under $2000 shipped?? Answer. Yes, it is more than decent, but don't expect a $6000 HKS kit for this price, but it will make good power, looks good and is robust. How much work does it take to install? As with any of the budget kits there are some slight fabrications required, so allocate a little extra time in that regard.

If you want to install a kit on the VVTi Supra or IS300 motors then you will need the AEM FIC listed below. It works with OBD II as a piggy back.
Selecting GS300 allows us to provide you with a small width intercooler for proper fitment. The fine print. This is a budget do-it-yourself turbo conversion kit and requires some fabrication for fitment. Warranty of 30 days for the turbo charger assembly applies. Of course, if you don't know what you are doing and install it poorly or don't have proper oil flow or you were not that bright and installed the turbo and the oil is contaminated we cannot cover the part. Analysis tells us immediately if something went through the turbo and hit the wheels or if the bearing failure is oil starvation or contamination related. Please note that the warranty starts from the date of receipt of the turbocharger itself. All warranty issues require a return authorization so we can analyze the product.
We have made available the MAP ECU, piggy back controller (see below), as an option. This unit replaces the mass air sensor on your Supra, allowing for more power and control of added air flow and injectors from 440cc to 720cc. It is the ultimate set-up for those changing over to single turbo, who still want to keep the factory computer.
Since there isn't a hard pipe kit available for any non turbo Supra's with the turbo kits we have, we decided to at least offer a generic kit. With this kit you will receive all the polished stainless steel tubing kit, couplers and clamps. This kit is NOT a direct fit and will require some cutting and welding, but it is a good start and a fair price.
For those owners with JDM (Japan Spec) 2JZGE powered cars wishing to do the conversion to a turbo powered engine, we have put together a package that is comprehensive and spec'd for up to 335HP. If you wish to go higher we can provide as an option our 1.3mm head gasket kit as well as direct drop in and upgraded injectors to support 450hp+.

When you make the conversion on a Naturally Aspirated (NA) 2JZGE engine to a turbo, you must remember that you are working with an engine that was designed for no-boost, therefore the compression ratio out of Japan is 10:1. This is the reason you are limited to 7-9psi of boost on the conversions, simply because the added compression from boost and the 10:1 ratio is too much for street gas.
This is why we have teamed with XS again to bring you a complete 1.3mm headgasket kit with all new seals to make this the most comprehensive 2JZGE headgasket kit in the market.

This kit comes with a 1.3mm thick high quality multilayer steel headgasket. Using the 1.3mm HG will yield a compression ratio of 9.2:1 - optimal for street driving and 17 psi of boost - great trade of compression and boost.
I strongly suggest that if you are doing your head gasket you do your front crank seal, cam seals, stem seals and intake/distributor gaskets. You may as well, you'll be looking right at them at that time. A great value!
Your factory transmission (auto) is good for about 325hp (max), so if you run nitrous or one of the NA-T turbo conversion kits then you will need our custom machined press tube kit. This will bump up power handling to approximately 450hp and makes for a nicer shift as well.
If you are okay with dropping the transmission pan you can do this pretty quick. Most any good transmission shop will install a valve-body upgrade kit for around $175.
You will receive a small package with our custom machined pressure tubes. These are readily installed by any transmission shop. These are designed to simply increase the pressure and allow more power. A new gasket is advised after installing.
Excellent tool for those running OBDII non-turbo to turbo conversions and dont want to give up the factory original ECU.
The F/IC gives users with OBD-II vehicles and non-factory forced induction systems the ability to retard ignition and deliver accurate amounts of fuel without the need for outdated FMUs or “boost hiding” controllers. This system works parallel to the factory ECU preventing tuning limitations due to complex factory timing patterns and will not cause a check engine light (CEL).
This is still a piggy back controller, but it is a slick device and is the ONLY real solution for a non-stand-alone application for those running non turbo engines converted to turbo using OBDII.

AEM 30-1910 F/IC PROVIDES PRECISE FUEL DELIVERY
The F/IC intercepts the signal to the stock injectors, allowing the user to modify pulse-width by +/-100%. The F/IC is the only piggy-back system that can decrease injector pulse-width, allowing the user to drive larger aftermarket injectors* while still maintaining proper air / fuel ratios. This powerful system can also tap into the factory injector signal and work independently to drive up to six (6) additional injectors.
EASY TIMING RETARD CONTROL WITH THE AEM FUEL / IGNITION CONTROLLER
The F/IC has the ability to retard timing by intercepting and delaying the outputs from the cam and crank position sensors to the engine- with no adverse affect on applications equipped with variable cam timing. The F/IC can retard timing from the factory system based on engine RPM and load inputs.
SENSOR CALIBRATION & CONTROL WITH THE AEM F/IC 30-1910
The F/IC can also be used to recalibrate / clamp the MAF sensor, eliminating common problems with non-boosted factory MAFs. The on-board MAP sensor allows for proper fueling in boosted applications.

You need to purchase this item with an HKS Type S, HKS Type R FMIC or our budget FMIC kit. This replaces your current overflow tank which must be moved & is rather large & hard to find a place for under the hood.
This is the simples choice for those wishing some basic fuel control on their single turbo converted 2JZGE engines. If you are running 440cc injectors this is all you need to get your single turbo conversion running well. While this isn't a perfect solution with some tuning, you will have a nice running car. If you are running larger injectors and desire far more tuning capabilities and wish to stay with the factory computer then go with our GReddy eManage, which is a piggy-back computer (ties onto the back end of the factory computer).

A'PEX introduces the first digital fuel computer that combines fuel computer functions with a VTEC engagement controller.
The V-AFC features a user-definable, eight-point, adjustable fuel curve that can be set in 500 RPM increments. The range of fuel adjustment is +/- 50% at each of the user-defined setting points.
The Fuel Adjustment function considers wide/narrow throttle and low/high camshaft settings, from which four different fuel maps are created (wide-low, wide-high, narrow-low, narrow-high).

There is much discussion on how much power the stock fuel system, engine management system, etc., the motor can handle. It is our "base" experience that on the factory small fuel injectors you can run about 285rwhp safely. Safely would be defined as injector duty cycle limit not exceeding 85% with an air fuel ratio under boost of 11.5 to 12.0 to 1 on good quality premium unleaded fuel. I know people have made 375rwhp on factory injectors, but this is our opinion of safe, not everyones.
Because we sell quite a few budget turbo kits to the 2JZGE IS300 customer, we wanted to put together what we refer to as our Stage 1.5 IS300 Accessory Kit. This kit contains our SupraStore.com return fuel system set-up package (details below), AEM UEGO Wideband and AEM FI/C for help in fine tuning those with entry level boost kits.
Not every customer requires the complete Stage 1.5 Accessory Kit and frankly, some just want to swap their IS300 from the non-return line factory style fuel system to the "required" Return Fuel System, which is a must for any boosted application in the IS300. Without this, you cannot successfully install a fuel pressure regulator.
I said all that, to say this. We have this Fuel System Set-up Package which converts your factory fuel system to a return style fuel system. All parts are in this kit. Figure an afternoon to do the install for an experienced mechanic.

What ineveitably happens to those that do a non turbo to turbo conversion on the 2JZGE motor is they are happen for quite a while at 300hp, then they want to turn up the boost for 500hp! Well, the factory injectors won't support those levels of boost, so we put together the simplest solution.
You will receive (6) RC 550cc direct drop-in injectors, which will fit in your factory fuel rail. That means, remove the old ones, install the new ones, done. We even include the wiring clips so they plug straight in.
