The girdle kit includes required ARP hardware, and fits any 1JZ or 2JZ engine, GE or GTE! What is it for? A girdle will remove 'swing' in the main caps. The swing in the block will be most in the middle of the engine. The girdle will also act as a partial windage tray. This girdle is compatible with all 1J and 2J engines and all sump types.
If you are using the OEM main caps, the girdle will rest on them. Your engine shop/builder should machine the provided spacers to the exact same height. If using billet main caps, you can let the girdle kit have a tiny amount of space from the caps, but spacers may still require modification to fit.
We have confirmed fitment with Titan and Induction main caps. Some minor milling may be required on the caps as well as spacers to fit the girdle properly.
