We're huge fans of the 10th generation Toyota Crown, especially the hardtop version with pillarless windows..and yes, we have a few of these cars. This kit includes everything you need to turbo your 2JZ-GE VVTi in your RHD Crown--no steering rack, downpipe, manifold, or wastegate issues here!
Our kit has been developed entirely in house on one of our own JZS155 Crowns, specifically for 2JZ Crowns. Please note we cannot guarantee fitment on the Crown Majesta JZS155, as those are based off of the GS/Aristo JZS155 chassis, and might have slight differences in fitment.
Some of the many benefits of the "zenki" 95 to mid-97 Crowns are that they still have the same rods as the turbo 2JZGTE, cable throttle, and no MAF! An ECUMasters DET3 and some injectors will easily get you to 500+ HP!!
The intercooler is rated for 700 HP, which is more than the turbo is capable of. So if you wanted to upgrade the turbo down the line, you still have room to do so. This kit is specifically built to make a mean street car with a very responsive turbo.
The intercooler will replace your factory crash bar behind the bumper cover. There's only some minor clearancing recommended just below the stock grill (which is not visible with the bumper cover installed). We also weld a 90* compressor outlet elbow (included with the kit) directly to the turbo to make installation a very straightforward, bolt on install! The factory bumper cover does NOT need to be cut/modified, and the intercooler fits nicely between the frame rails! We're big fans of this style for that sleeper look. You may also need to move/bend the lines going from the auto trans to the radiator, if you still have an auto trans.
The base kit does include a BOV, though we also offer better options. Whichever route you go with, we weld the BOV on the cold side piping for you that matches your blow off valve selection.
This kit includes everything needed to turbo your JZS155 Crown, including:
Borg Warner S200SX 7670 turbo (S257SX-E), .83 A/R twin scroll T4 housing
Custom made JZS155 specific fitment downpipe for Borg Warner S200/S300 outlet
V-band clamp for turbo to downpipe
In-house stainless steel tubular turbo exhaust manifold, 2mm thick runners (no ebay garbage here!)
Intercooler kit (core, piping, etc.) with custom in house billet mount brackets
90 degree welded on elbow for the compressor outlet
TurboSmart 45mm HyperGate
Wastegate Dump Tube
K&N intake filter
Turbo heat shield
Blow off valve
Turbo oil feed and drain line kit
The downpipe bolts to the stock exhaust...though why would you stick with the stock exhaust? We can make that too!
