 People continually ask us to put together new kits for the 7MGTE motor and this timing belt and cam gear kit is a combo maintenance and tuning package! The Gates racing division has put together a belt we feel is even more robust than the factory Toyota unit. Start the cam gear setting with +3 degrees advanced and -1 degree retarded. If you have access to a dyno you can make changes from there.

One of the great tuning tools for the 7MGTE engine is adjustable cam gears. Gains of up to 10HP have been achieved in mildly tuned 7M motors with a cam gear install.
You will receive one (1) Gates 7MGTE timing belt and two (2) Titan Motorsports 7MGTE cam gears along with our tuning settings to maximize performance on stock turbo 7MGTE motors.
