If you are installing a new high performance radiator in your 1993-1998 Toyota Supra Turbo Automatic, then you will absolutely need a new remote oil cooler. The Toyota original automatic transmission radiators have a very small oil cooler built-in, which works "ok" with a stock Supra.

When you remove the original radiator, you are also in effect removing that small cooler as well, which is why you need this item, as all the aluminum performance radiators do not come with an oil-cooler integrated. This unit is far better anyway, so it works out great.

This system from B&M is fantastic. Small enough to fit in many locations, has an integrated low-amp draw 12 volt fan and will drive oil temperature lower than the factory set-up and help keep that transmission cool.
