We go a little further with this head over the street/strip head. Each head is made for each application and will vary for your specific needs.
Typically we machine our heads for the industry standard 1/2" stud by ARP which we can offer.
The port/polish is slightly more aggressive to yield just a little more power. Each valve stem is special cut for your specific camshaft; we can install custom Titan Cams that are head specific for your needs. These custom cams can yield a little more power then the standard off the shelf variety.
Each valve seat is custom made for your application and matched to the appropriate valve for optimum power.
Most heads for race use must be serviced after 40 hours of use. If you're spinning your motor to 9,500 rpm's on a routine basis at 40psi+ of boost you'll need to service the valve train. For a fast street car, this isn't required as often.
