After extensive cam testing, Titan has found that the stock cam bolt for the 2JZ-GTE engine is not optimal when aftermarket modification have been performed. Stock cam bolts do not break, but they have found when spinning past the stock rev limiter, that the bolt is not as effective, and would require a new bolt that can be torque down more. Titan Motorsports has developed the only Cam Bolt on the market to fix some issues with harmonics as well as made it more appealing bolt to install on the car.
This bolt needs to be torqued down more than the factory to also achieve the greatest benefit. With oil or ARP moly lube the torque should be around 70-73 ft/lbs
