The big question for Supra 2JZGTE owners when stepping up to a stand alone is how seamless will the transition be from the factory ECU to an aftermarket one? Will it be reliable, will all my factory comfort features still work, like A/C, cruise, all my power features, speedo, tach? The answer to these questions is simple. Yes, it is an incredible upgrade, it will free up power, tuning, performance, adds heaps of features (heaps for you Aussies) and is ultra-reliable and a direct plug-n-play device.
You do not need an aftermarket harness adapter, just remove the original ECU, plug in the AEM and install your map sensor and IAT (simple process) and you are ready for the car to be tuned. Tuned? Yes, tuned, get a pro to tune and get ready to be blown away for it's features. Tuners for the AEM exist all over the free-world and if you happen to not have one, we can do our eMail tune for $400 remotely.

EMS' have long been left to the special tuning house and have often required expertise that was so-far beyond the average Joe, that it was near impossible to run a unit on a street-car.
The Plug N Play (PNP) unit is a Windows based "replacement" computer that utilizes the factory wiring harness and ALL factory sensors for the car. The basic AEM programmable engine management system is suitable for those running the factory mass air sensor with the factory twin turbos (even highly boosted). For those with upgraded turbos running large boost, a conversion to speed density via the usage of a higher bar map sensor is required.
Included here is the GM 3.0 bar map sensor and pigtail connector (slight mod required to connector).
The intake air temp sensor is key to measuring your intake air stream temperature and is used for many aftermarket engine management systems including the AEM EMS>
If you are serious about using the AEM EMS for controlling and making modifications to your Supra, then a good quality wide band o2 sensor kit is needed. This kit with included Supra specific wiring instructions can be fitted to your AEM EMS inputs and you can truly TUNE your car to perfection, minimizing catastrophic engine failures from poor seat of the pants tuning.

For those that want to run more than the limit of 2.0 bar on the GM 3 bar map sensor (remember 1 bar is used for vacuum), then this is the set-up for you.
This mil-spec industrial 0-5V Map sensor designed for automotive use is the premier Map Sensor for high boosting cars. We have calibrations and scalars for this sensor as well.
Includes the 5 Bar Map Sensor recommended by AEM and the wiring pigtail.
